At King Henry’s Junior School we very much focus on the child as a whole, encompassing strong academic challenge alongside a rich breadth of opportunities to take part in a variety of clubs, music, sport and drama. We want to find and ignite sparks within every child, instil a love of learning, and passions for activities that they can carry for a lifetime. Our children are all so wonderfully unique and this is one of the things that makes our school such a magical place, full of imagination and creativity, yet underpinned by a determination for each child to reach the highest standards they can, with plenty of encouragement and support to achieve that.
Our teachers are truly dedicated, and the atmosphere in the school is warm and welcoming, encouraging children to flourish as a community of learners, celebrating each other’s successes and developing resilience and independence along the way. The reality is that you can only really get a true sense of the spirit of a school by visiting in person, so I would encourage you to come and see for yourself, either by appointment or at one of our Open events held throughout the year.
