King Henry VIII School was founded by John Hales in 1545 on the instruction of the King. For nearly five centuries it has enlightened and inspired the young people of Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond.

The KHVIII Trust has been established to support the provision of scholarships, bursaries and educational facilities, allowing future generations to benefit from the opportunities the school provides.

Regular Giving – The 1545 Fund

Just 41 monthly donations of £15.45 can fund a 50% bursary, giving a life changing opportunity to a young person. The scheme is flexible, allowing you to set the value and frequency of donation. As a registered charity, gifts from UK taxpayers are eligible for Gift Aid, boosting your donation by 25%!

One-off Donation

If you would prefer to make a one-off donation, as an individual or through a business, up to a value of £10,000, please CLICK HERE to be directed to KHVIII Trust’s donation page. Again, donations from UK taxpayers are eligible for Gift Aid, adding 25p for every £1 you donate.

EMR Metal Recycling

We realise not everyone is in a position to contribute financially. Thanks to the support of EMR Metal Recycling, the KHVIII Trust has an account to convert scrap metal into funds. We welcome all donations of scrap metal, which can be dropped off at the school’s Spencer Road gate.
