The School Nurse works full-time in school from Monday to Friday. The Medical and Wellbeing Centre is located near the Sports Centre. The School Nurse deals with emergencies, short term and long term medical issues. She arranges meetings with the School Counsellor and is happy to have confidential chats with pupils if they have a medical concern. The School Nurse also attends sports fixtures when required and arranges the school-based vaccination programmes as required.

Parents are reminded that their child’s medical records should be kept up to date at all times and that all prescription medication should be handed to the Nurse for safe-keeping and administering.
