Outstanding pastoral support contributes to the happiness of students at Henry’s, creating a positive, friendly atmosphere for all. We work closely with parents to ensure each young adult receives the best possible pastoral care during their time here.
Our Head of Sixth Form and Deputy Head of Sixth Form are a collaborative learning partnership with our team of Form Tutors, School Nurses, Chaplain and Learning Support Department, working together to promote our pupils’ happiness and progress. Students who need extra support are quickly identified by our pastoral team.
An inclusive environment
Through small group and one-to-one study sessions, and buddying for newcomers to the Sixth Form, we do everything in our power to create an inclusive environment. Some students may also train to become mentors, should they wish and a number of our students our peer mentors for other students in the school developing leadership skills.
