Sky Blues After School Club
Sky Blues in the Community will be running a Football After School Club at King Henry Hales in the Autumn 2018. The course will consist of 10 weeks of football activity where the children will work on different aspects of football. The emphasis for our after-school club is a fun introduction to football and at the same time we actively encourage good sportsmanship, promote teamwork, leadership and respect. Each session has a game based skills approach and finishes with a small-sided football match.
Lamda
We are fortunate in the Preparatory School to have access to LAMDA teachers who teach pupils extra-curricular Speech and Drama and Acting Lessons through into the Senior School. This means that there are a wide variety of opportunities for the pupils and it is sometimes possible to continue with the same tutor throughout a pupil’s whole school career.
Pupils discover a wide range of poetry and prose and learn how to interpret their meanings and experience a variety of skills including staging techniques, mime, role-play and improvisation.
Bayleaf Cookery School
Bayleaf run a cookery club at Hales on Thursday afternoons from 4-5pm. Pupils follow a wide range of sweet and savoury recipes, learning how easy and enjoyable it is to make delicious dishes from scratch.
