A level results 2021
Today we issued A level results to our students based on ‘Teacher Assessed Grades’. Students have done incredibly well and the vast majority are now moving on to excellent university courses or higher level apprenticeships.
The outstanding results reflect the hard work and commitment by our students and the speed that we were able to switch to online learning. Teachers worked tirelessly to develop lesson plans and assessment packages to deliver lessons on Teams. Students engaged with this new normal and therefore continued to make outstanding progress. For many, standards have risen as some students may have emerged from the pandemic as better learners. They have needed to cope with uncertainty, they have been required to adapt, to learn in different ways, in different locations and using different tools.
Fourteen students gained 3A* grades or better with Abdullah Abdullah, Sunil Banga, Sarah Brown, Michael Channing, Adrian Er, and Sukhdeep Mahil receiving an impressive 4A* grades.
The last 18 months have been an incredible time to work in education. Schools and students across the UK haven’t faced this much disruption since World War II. We are very proud of all our students and wish them every success for the future.
