King Henry VIII School rugby programme continues to thrive as Vice-Captain Toby earns a well-deserved selection for the Midlands U18 Rugby team at the recent Championships. His outstanding work rate, relentless defensive efforts and unwavering commitment to the game have propelled him to this prestigious level of competition.Toby, in Upper Sixth at King Henry’s, has been a driving force within the King Henry VIII 1st XV, setting the standard with his exceptional defensive play and leadership on and off the field. His tenacity in the tackle, tactical awareness and ability to rally those around him has made him an invaluable asset to the squad. More than just a player, Toby is a real character within the team – someone his peers look up to and who leads by example in every aspect of the game.
Mr. Fitt, Director of Sport, expressed immense pride in Toby’s achievement, highlighting his rapid development over the past few seasons:
