Our Facilities

Based at The Grange in Coventry, our superb facilities are surrounded by idyllic green spaces providing the ideal space for children to learn and grow. You’ll even spot our charming little coop of chickens as you walk around our six acres.

CLASSROOMS

Bright and inspiring learning spaces

Our classrooms are filled with happiness, laughter and enthusiasm for learning.

Each classroom is spacious and light with views of the trees from every window and equipped with a smart, interactive whiteboard.

We also have a multi-purpose hall that provides space for drama, music, assemblies and other activities.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Designated Computing Suite

Our computer room is fully equipped with 20 computers with additional equipment such as cameras and programmable ‘Bee-bots’, and a smart, touch screen interactive board.

Children have access to a range of educational software and resources, designed to develop digital skills and familiarise them with using a computer. With a focus on online safety, we develop responsible, careful and kind use of technology.

ART, DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY

Sparking creativity

Our aim is to encourage artistic development in all our children. Children have dedicated art lessons in which they can express themselves using a range of media. They are taught specific art skills and how to use art equipment appropriately.

Our art and design classroom is a fantastic creative space packed full of art and craft resources. We have a wealth of art supplies including paints, crafting materials and clay for the children to use.

OUTDOORS

Dedicated outdoor learning areas

Our outside learning spaces are second to none. We offer secure, covered outdoor areas for both Nursery and Reception children.

The Orchard has a selection of fruit trees and logs for seating. Our large Forest School area offers the opportunity for building dens and camp fires.

We hold a variety of sports in our field and tennis court. The children also love the vegetable and flower patch.

LIBRARY

Fostering a love of reading

Our library plays a key role in our teaching and learning processes, providing a focal point for reader and literacy development. It is a welcoming and relaxing space designed to develop children’s love of literature from a very young age.

Our superb library space is well stocked with carefully chosen books to inspire and enthuse a love of reading amongst our children.

SPORT

Building skills and confidence

To give our children the best possible start in sport, we provide a variety of exciting game-based activities that focus on basic skills such as throwing, catching, aiming, kicking, jumping and dodging. Activities take place in our extensive fields or on our tennis court.

Swimming is very popular here at The Grange. In Reception, children swim every week during the Spring and half of the Summer Term. Year 1 children swim every week during the Autumn and half of the Summer Term. Year 2 children swim every week in the Summer Term.
