Success at Music Festivals
Over the last few weekends several King Henry VIII School pupils have been taking part in different sections of the Leamington Music Festival and, earlier in the summer, in the Nuneaton Festival.
There were some lovely performances across the woodwind, strings and piano sections with several pupils winning their classes or coming 2nd or 3rd.
The clarinet choir was highly praised by the adjudicator and successfully defended their title in the ensemble class. The piano trio also played brilliantly and were award the ‘Rose Bowl’ in a high standard, closely fought class.
