Robotics Team Took on the World!
King Henry VIII Senior School has had an outstanding record of success at the international student-led robotics competition, VEX Robotics over the past decade. With over 20,000 teams from more than 50 countries participating in over 1,600 tournaments, VEX Robotics is one of the world’s largest robotics competitions.
Having won the prestigious ‘Innovate’ award at the National Finals in March, Team Kronos, our junior robotics team earned the honour of representing the UK across three days of intense competition in Texas.
Ahead of their trip to the VEX Robotics World Finals in Dallas, Texas, the team was featured in an interview on BBC CWR.

And the results from Dallas…
Huge congratulations go to Team Kronos for proudly representing the UK and King Henry VIII School at the VEX World Finals.
They finished in the top half of the world’s division and achieved an incredible new personal best score of 277, smashing their previous record of 82 from the National Finals just a few months earlier.
It was a fantastic achievement from a brilliant team and we couldn’t be more proud.
