Record GCSE Success at King Henry’s
We are delighted to share that our pupils are celebrating their strongest GCSE results at the highest grades since 2017. Nearly half of our pupils achieved the top grades of 8 or 9 (equivalent to A*) and 70% of all grades were awarded at 7–9 (A–A*).
These outcomes highlight the breadth of academic excellence across our school. In Latin and Drama, 100% of grades were at 7–9, while in both Maths and English, over 70% of grades also fell within this top band.
Our Year 11 pupils are celebrating fantastic results, matching some of the strongest outcomes we’ve seen in recent years. We are incredibly proud, not just of the results themselves but of the dedication and effort our pupils have shown to achieve them.

“Our Year 11 pupils are celebrating fantastic GCSE results, matching some of the strongest outcomes we’ve seen in recent years. I am incredibly proud, not just of the results themselves, but of the determination and effort our pupils have put in to achieve them.”
Among the many successes, Diya achieved an outstanding ten grade 9s and will continue her studies in our Sixth Form, choosing Latin, Politics, English Literature and French. Triplets Jacqueline, Francesca and Cassandra, who joined us in Year 9, collectively secured 17 GCSEs at grade 7 or above.
The majority of our pupils will now continue into our thriving Sixth Form. Just last week, we also celebrated stellar A level results, with pupils securing places at Oxford and other top universities, including a record number going on to study Medicine.
We still have a limited number of Sixth Form places available for September. If you are interested, we encourage you to contact our Admissions team on 024 7627 1190.
