A Level Results 2025 – Record-Breaking Success for Our Engineers, Medics and Top Apprenticeships
We are thrilled to celebrate our highest A/B grades since 2015* (excluding pandemic years) – and the second highest in the past fifteen years – as our pupils collect their A Level results today. These outstanding achievements will see this year’s cohort heading to elite universities, embarking on prestigious apprenticeships and pursuing careers in fields ranging from medicine to cutting-edge engineering.
Leading the way is Phoebe, who achieved an A* in Art with full marks – one of the highest grades in the country. In engineering, Oscar scored an incredible four A*s and will be reading Computing at Imperial College London.
Our thriving apprenticeship pathway has once again produced exceptional results. Will has secured a coveted Chemical Process Engineering apprenticeship with GSK, Sean will join Balfour Beatty as a Civil Engineering apprentice, Priya will embark on a Law Apprenticeship with Squire Patton Boggs, and Ben is taking up a Data Analyst role with the National Grid.
Medicine continues to be a strong tradition here at King Henry’s, with six pupils heading to medical school. Among them are Avnish (AAA*), Aryan (AAA*A), Rohan (AAA) and Ameze (AAA), who will study at the University of Nottingham while also pursuing her super league netball ambitions. Our medical destinations this year include Cardiff, Imperial, Leicester, Sheffield, Newcastle and Nottingham.
We are especially proud of our Heads of School. Freya is celebrating her place at the University of Oxford to read French and Philosophy after achieving A*A*B. Between them, Freya, Hattie, Dharam and Roma earned 12 A*-B grades and will go on to study French and Philosophy, Geography, Aeronautical Engineering and Computer Science.
Other fantastic individual successes include Caleb, who will read Physics with Theoretical Physics at Manchester after achieving three As and an A, and another Freya, who will study Law at Leeds with AAA.
This year’s cohort have impressed us across the board – whether heading to elite universities, securing competitive apprenticeships or excelling in specialist fields like medicine, engineering and the arts. Their results reflect not only talent and hard work but also resilience, adaptability and a readiness to make a difference in the world.
We couldn’t be more proud.
