Welcome to our Pre-Prep

Children start their journey at King Henry VII School at our Pre-Prep. This offers a caring environment where children are happy and excited to come to school.

King Henry VIII Junior is the feeder school for King Henry VIII Senior. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding learning opportunities for all children. Well-qualified, dedicated and experienced teaching staff deliver a vibrant, diverse and challenging curriculum, which is supplemented with a wide range of co-curricular opportunities, from Music and Drama through to Sport and Outdoor Education.

Set in beautiful grounds just a short walk from the Junior and Senior School site, King Henry VIII Pre-Prep is the perfect place for your child to start their journey with us. Inspirational and dedicated teachers allow us to fully celebrate the learning process. The children take ownership of their learning journey, they are highly motivated and inquisitive, with a love of learning that starts at a young age.

As the Head of the Pre-Prep, I feel an enormous sense of responsibility as you entrust your youngest children into our care. Our nurturing environment, where pastoral care is a priority, enables and encourages children to be the best version of themselves. Children thrive both personally and academically as we provide a range of experiences that engage and challenge them every day. Encouraging each child to develop a sense of wonder and a life-long love of learning is of the utmost importance.
