BBC Reporter Inspires Future Journalists at King Henry VIII School
It was a privilege that Rosie Eaton, BBC reporter for Coventry and Warwickshire, joined the King Henry’s Herald team to give the pupils an insight into working in the media. Rosie spoke passionately about her career and how she got into journalism after studying English at university; it was so interesting for the pupils to hear how they might be able to use the skills learnt at school in their future careers.
Every pupil was a credit to King Henry’s as they engaged with Rosie’s words and asked interesting questions, including which story was the highlight of her career, what it is like reporting on local issues like politics, and how her A-Level choices influenced her career.
